  • Past Intern- Klarrisa Orozco

    Klarrisa Orozco served as the Membership Engagement Intern for the Early Learning Alliance (ELA) during the past summer. In this role, she was instrumental in developing and implementing strategies to boost member engagement and retention through social media and event planning. In addition, she played a key role in developing the Capacity Building survey to assess and enhance ELA's membership experience. She recently wrote a blog post highlighting her experience.

  • Past Intern- Shamika Williams

    Shamika Williams is a graduate student at University of Texas at Dallas, with an undergraduate degree in Psychology. She has over 14 years of child care experience starting through her high school years as a nanny and later becoming an assistant preschool teacher. She has a background in Underwriting and small business management, however her passion for children has proven to be her purpose in life. She is highly motivated to provide relief services to low-income families and at-risk youth. She is dedicated to helping children and families access community resources and assisting with building strategies to address life challenges. Her college experience has allowed her to gain further knowledge and experiences working with children with disabilities.
